Your poll leaves out a likely option: the courts mandating the right of homosexuals to marry.

The states, not Congress, have always decided mariage laws. If the federal government is going to require same sex marriage (which it should) it needs to occur with the Supreme Court determining that it violates equal protection to deny homosexuals the right to marry.

This was not left to congress. it was given to the states to decide what Marriage was and the laws of it . only a man and a woman can re-produce the next generation and a child needs a Father and a Mother to properly raise and teach that child the Moral way to become a Mother or Father , wife or Husband. The very life of a Nation and society hangs in the balance if it destroys the Marriage institution of one Man and one Woman as one flesh.We must remember that the sodomite male or female is a person who perverts that Institution with their Lust (not love) for the same gender in a sexual way.its all about perverted sex and sin . more on this issue later. any state that doesn't ban such immoral standards of sodomite marriages should be held in contempt.
